Yugo M53 kit
I was looking at their description of the kit. Since I already have a SA-42, this might be a good way to obtain the parts needed to convert to 8mm. Plus having some spare parts. Even though I'm laid-off right now I might buy one and then sell the parts I don't need. I have plenty of Romy 8mm and I would like to set up the SA-42 to shoot the 8mm. Hmm, be still my beating heart he says as he reaches for the plastic. I really hate to pass up a deal like this.
I got mine too...
I'm glad your barrel looks like new, mine doesn't, but it isn't horrible. Dark bore, no major pitting, looks ok as a blaster. The kit came with the normal cut barrel jacket with finish at about 60%. THe rest of the parts look like they were stripped from brand new guns, everything in an extremely heavy cosmoline. As soon as i get this stripped of the cosmoline, I'll post pics. Overall, pretty pleased with the general condition. edit to the barrel condition, just cleaned it up. Fortunately it was just very dirty, as it is virtually brand new with no wear marks at all.
