Replaced pic 1991 ---- 42rocker ---- ok, could not find pic 1991 in what TC sent me using pic 1374 instead which should be close.

All back together and no left over parts.

Replaced pic 1995 ----42rocker Again could not find the pic in the group TC sent me. Will work on it.

Question.
My Lafette could use a bit of touch up in spots.
There is a Sherwin-Williams dealer about 7 miles from us.
Do you have the S/W paint code for the Dark green colour?
I restore older British cars as a hobby.
Spent 4 years doing a '75 Bentley T-1 series saloon.
Learned a lot of 4 letter words.
After that,went back to early Mini's.

I do not believe that the dark green color is the correct color for your Lafette. It sounds like it may be post war Norwegian repaint. Pictures would be helpful. I am assuming you have a Lafette 34.

Great article. What type of thinner did you use on the paint? Was in paint thinner, MEK, Acetone or lacquer thinner?

The paint was your basic oil base, so I just used paint thinner. And I added a small amount of japan dryer (follow directions on can).

Thank you for all the information. The paint match thing is normally a nightmare in this hobby. I had both colors mixed. It's nice being able to get authentic colors at my local paint store. The grey as mixed is a dead match to the original ammo can I bought from you.Not that I am going to paint that one buT I have a bunch of yugo green cans that will get the treatment.

yep, I have a picture somewhere that I spayed out a test panel and then compared it to the inside cover of one of those original cans I sold. Dead on match. The satin sheen will settle down a bit after baking the paint and about a year of curing, it will tone down and not look so shiny. I've heard about adding talc powder to the paint to flatten the sheen down, but haven't played around with that and probably never will.

All good evening, the subject matter about a gun carriage of mg 34 is very interesting, at whom the string is drawings of a gun carriage?

Well I wish that I could replace all of the missing photos. But I can't at this time.
What I can do is state that I live in Fla. and my wife and I drove to Red Wing, Minn for one of DA's machine gun shoots where I got to see TC's great MG34 and this Lafette and only took a few pics, still wish I had taken a few hundred more. But a few pics of the finished Project.
