WTB MG42/M53 barrel stop

The u-shaped thingy that is riveted into the shroud opposite the barrel gate. I have BRP shroud stampings and need this part to finish. Maybe someone has an ate-up shroud this part could be harvested from?

Have you contacted BRP-Corp......and RTG-Parts for this part (?)........also SARCO-Inc.

Repaired works fine

Thanks, USMC. I was considering that receiver section from RTG. I have a question into them (they haven't answered yet) about whether that section had the barrel yoke. You've now answered my question. Thank you!

It had it, it was just crushed and cracked... They just don't consider it a serviceable part... Just tell them you are going to repair that part and are less concerned about the trunion. They should accommodate for one that is crushed closer to the trunion.
