Got to peek at mine. Its the same as yours. Mine has some grind marks on it as well. The rivet holes are endmilled through. It is also almost 100% yugo. The buttstock may be German it's bad but not totaly destroyed. The barrel is worn/good but 100% shiney inside. Grab them for 399.00 they are a deal. Mine will be a semi mg3 clone some day. The feed tray is a yugo 8mm to 308. That is an 8mm lenght tray with the well installed insert. Can be made into an 8mm tray in about 30 seconds.

Yes thats the type OI had. If you want german thats the one. At the price we are paying (399.00) you can order the 308 kit and an extra 8mm barrel and still be under the price of a german. You cant beat these kits for spares or a semi build. Other vendors are selling thier kits without most of the scrap and getting close to 399.00 for them. Don't get me wrong these kits aren't as nice as the german kits offered last year but in this market they are fine for the price.

Regarding the cuts. I believe they needed to be cut with a flame to meet the new atf guidelines. Mine is back in the box waiting to be wrapped up for christmas but if i remember correctly it did not have a base for an AA spider sight. no hole or base. Like I said the scrap I got looks yugo 50's made.

if you don't have the front hole for the ww2 spider then you just need the mg1/mg3 aa spider that mounts in front of the rear site it stays on permanent and folds down, i think rtg for 1 has em maybe dan@angola to?

I just used that as an example of how this reciever and the german differ. I can do without the AA sight mount.
