TomR,
Best of luck Tom......my two sons still live and work in southern New Jersey.

Due to the economy, has anyone suggested "re-training", and or unemployment until things pick up (?)......most people don't like to think about these options, but we pay into the "systems" and should be able to use them when needed. I suggest these because one of my sons needed to use them for a short spell to get back into the work-force.

Sorry to hear this, I have been there before myself. You are a good man not to tell your wife that you are selling your things..

I'd be interested in an 8mm barrel and the tripod.

However, another thing you can do is if you have a bill me later with ebay, you can buy gold and silver at slightly above going rate, take it to a pawn shop and have cash in hand and not have to pay on it or it off for 6 months.. May help you get by without selling your stuff and if you cant get by then sell your stuff.
