Mine fits right on my browning M2 tripod looks sweet can't wait to get my gun as I am waiting on a form 4 to clear and I am the 3rd owner The 3 dead nazi's the guy that killed the Nazi's and then me the gun made the front page Of the WV Newspaper and I have that also. I lucked into this gun and it is all matching including the barrel gun is dated 1944 and was ship bake to the US in april 1945.

It will take a while I sure because I have to open the guy estate because his heirs did finish the transfer to them so there is some legal work being done before the form 4s can go in to the BATF but something are worth waiting on.

I was also going to note that I believe that that mount was for use on the US style tri-pod but I guess it might fit on a vehicle mount. The one I have is ex-Danish Army. The mounts that the Germans use for the MG3 on vehicles is much different. Harry

I have 2 vehicle cradels, if anyone is interseted ill ship them to the states. have checked and they are not ilegal in any way, so there should be no truble geting them across the atlantic. Ill post price in the for sale sectoin.
