My Barrel Carriers pics and info

Well in trying to learn more about barrel carriers I'm sharing and I hope that others will make their own threads and share data with us all.

My subject group is small -- really wish that I owned a lot more, but..

Pics of my subject group.

I have placed a MG34 barrel and a MG42 barrel on top of the carriers so you can have an idea of the lengths of everything.

Starting with the oldest that I have at this time. --- Manufacturer Switz 1939 WaAmp 710 (due to small print I hope 710 is correct)

Note tab on side to help open and close

Notice the the barrel rests. I read in another thread that the rests are made of Aluminum and bakelite.
