Fun with ebay-- Lets have some fun with them

Post by 42rocker »

A couple of things.
A lot of us know that ebay does not seem to like the gun trade. Some of us know that a website that you go to can track what website you came from. So the following thought; what if you always went to ebay from a gun website??? What would they start think about???
I think that next time I'm thinking about going to log on to ebay I'll make sure that I come in from a gun related website site and when I leave ebay I'll go to a gun related website. Just for fun and to mess with their minds. Make them think about the fact that there are those of us that like guns and such.

Having Fun with ebay

Well not going, that's one way to do things. But I buy and sell to much other stuff on evilbay to just skip them altogether. So lets have fun with them I say. I do this website then go to evilbay then leave evilbay and go to Weapons Guild. That way they have a great track record of someone that likes guns and stuff. Also I and others have found some ok to good deals buying mg42 stuff off evilbay here in the US and overseas. Almost picked up a bolt box for $50 plus shipping the other day. Would have offered more but s&h was high and I have 3 or 4 bolt boxes already.

Interesting to note that ebay or evilbay as I normally call them has changed their guns parts thoughts. Money it's what they want...

Back in 07 I was laid off from work, didn't bother collecting un-employment started selling gun parts on evilbay again...always a love/hate relationship with them, between my stuff and items I sold on concienment the bills got paid.... Then they did the gun parts ban which was a kick in the teeth... so I still had enough depth in militria that I continued selling up unitl evilbay changed a bunch of things they reduced the fees but loaded them at the back end.... sellers could not give negitive feed back....that was the straw that broke the camels back.... stopped doing evilbay and never looked back Don't get me started on Painpal their online bank.....

Well Boys,

Love or hate Ebay (I am not fond of them either), but that is capitalism, if we had the brains to build the better mousetrap, then we could call the shots and policies.

I use to sell parts on there until that dingbat at VA Tech went nuts. What ebay did was classic risk management, I think it is silly to ban "parts kits" too; and yes there is a lot that now slips beneath the radar (I agree somewhat willingly), and "Painpal" is a real mess.

Gun collecting, especially beltfeds-(the NRA even hangs us out to dry), is an orphan hobby, until our members can get it together (not like Gunpal) and do something, we are stuck. Actually the NRA has the resources to launch a new more honest version of Gunpal, they simply do not want the risk either.

I am just too stupid to know how to set up a gun friendly online banking system  , and I also lack resources :?

And 42Rocker, I think that is a funny idea, can't hurt, I will do the same when I go there
