dfb 44 mg42 bipod

Hey,

does anyone have, or have any leads on a german mg42 bipod, late war type dfb 44 or simmilar, the ones without the adjustment Knobs? i an needing one for my late war mg42.

On G/B now, unmarked. Owner says Yugo. Looks crude enough to be late-war German...Phil

The bipod on GB is a latewar dfb one. The dfb marking is on the leg where it should be. Remove the blue and you have a perfect phosphat latewar bipod from Gustloff.

Why Delete? Some info here.

Searchandfind -- I just noticed the dfb in the 2nd photo on the right side of the upper leg. How would you get the bluing off?
