Does anyone use a repro stock?

Post by mggunner34 »

Just wondering if anyone has any experiance with these repro mg34 stocks:

While I do have two original german stocks, I would like the repro for when I shoot from the bipod as the stock sits directly on the ground when you put the gun down, and I dont want to mess up my originals but I still want it to look good.

I have a repro similar to this.

Got it from Dan of Angola a year or two ago. Solid walnut stock.

Very solid piece and looks good. Only problem I had was the threads were off a small amount and there is a slight gap.

Still functions and I just need to put a spacer in it.

If you have concerns about your original German ones, then I'd say go ahead and get a stock from this guy or anyone else you can find with something similiar.

The guy on gun broker boast solid wood, so I am guessing it is similiar to what I have.
