Starting a topic and build of your own might be better for you than posting on this topic. Also rtg did not make that rear receiver, gets the parts from brp who does make them, however.

I am also back..... not building yet, but back and can answer any questions, plus if BRP is back order on something I definitely have it. There are some errors and steps that where not put into the build that I can help out with.

Having a non-reloadable 10 round belt like that, is one possible configuration to comply with the "assault weapon" ban in california. It is not the only option. I guess he really wanted the pistol grip, and that's what he had to do, to comply. I'm not going that route.

And moving out of the state doesn't solve anything. The entire country got a taste of the "Assault Weapon Ban" for ten years. I could spend a fortune moving to a "free state" with zero guarantee that the state politicians there wouldn't also violate my rights, or that it could happen again on a federal level. With what has happened to full-autos I wouldn't put anything past for another type of semi-auto ban.

Mech warrior has the recent build over at Weaponeer forums which includes starting with the BRP rear kit. He is also using 'common' tools (drillpress, dremel...).
