Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know of any Phili Ord MG34 recievers around for sale, Phil Ord are out and are not planning a run again until they can get to a magic number.

Let me know if anyone knows of any surplus to requirements

Thanks

Hi Crash, do you indend to display it or build a semi? PhilOrd receivers are notoriously not possible for ordinary humans to build into semi's. For a display, just pick up a parts kit with an aluminum IMA receiver. There's one on G/B now for $999. If you want to operate your MG34 or MG42, the best course in this day and age seems to be to purchase a running Wiselite 42 or TNW 34 from G/B. During the auction, email the owner with a polite question. If it doesn't sell, politely ask if it will be relisted, or if he would accept an offer. Frowned upon, but works sometimes. The market for semi's can be up or down.
That said, if you want to build a semi-34 receiver from real parts, go to BRP guns, buy two of his display receivers. You will have plenty of everthing you need. They are made of nice long pieces, already aligned, and spaced. If you are interested, he doesn't have many left. The last ones around. Good luck...Phil
