WTS: ZB-26 Parts Kit and ZB-30 Barrel

Post by MPLoyd »

Hello, I'm posting a gunbroker auction for a ZB-26 parts kit and a ZB-30 Barrel I was going to adapt to it for sale. Just spreading the word. Starting bid is $1,195.00 and it has 8 magazines. Any suggestions appreciated, especially where else I can let other forums know it's for sale. Thanks.

Mike,
A little bit of information on your vz26 kit there......

It is NOT marked with "Nazi swastikas", nor was this specific gun ever used by the Germans; it is a Chinese production vz. 26 clone made by the Chinese Hanyang Arsenal, and those "(reversed)swastikas" are actually both a specific Hanyang Arsenal identification and at the same time a very common Chinese good-luck symbol which they used to "inspire" the soldiers issued the gun.

Chinese vz. 26 clones are often times.....problematic....in that the Chinese industry of the era never really mastered the interchangeable parts concept and every one of those guns were hand-fitted and assembled making reactivating such a collection of parts extremely......fun......if all the parts did not come from the exact same gun when cut. Even (European)magazines will not fit if they are not original Chinese magazines and/or already fitted to the specific receiver. It makes for a considerable challenge, these Chinese clones.

Virtually no parts of these Chinese clones will drop right into a European-mfgr vz. 26 gun without considerable work.

And besides, the legs on the swastika are going the wrong direction. I bet the Germans would have done it correctly if they built the gun. hahahahahhaa
