I don't see the importance of one's education, this is a forum, not a scholarly article ! You think spelling errors are an issue, why don't you start adding citations ever 2nd/3rd sentence you type. Now that is something to b*tch about (I absolutely hate it)!

The pakistan government is in a tough spot, they got caught with their pants down, and sure have some explaining to do! Although their higher-ups are incredibly corrupt, nothing gets done over there without bribery. I'm confident some elements of the government knew of bin laden. They definitely worked to keep him concealed, i couldn't imagine the soldiers from that local base not even seeing him by accident. They must have been ordered not to search that region.

I work a bit with Pakistan,and a friend is on the ground there.The main cause of our troubles are from Pakistan.They are NOT our friends.The money we send them is being funneled into the 'insurgents'. That whole craphole area is corrupt.We hire armed guards for our convoys in 'Stan.The Pres's brother is the main contractor for that.He just pays the bad guys to leave the convoys alone,and sometimes they get to attack,so he can raise his rates.
The Paki military and intel are playing both sides,and we are funding it all.This is not just a rant or my opinion.
We are in Afghanistan still so the Chinese can't get their hands on the mineral deposits in the north.The opium trade is a big source of bucks there,too.
Read Marine Corps Commandant Gen'l Smedley Butlers' book 'Common Sense' This crap has been going on too long,the country can't afford it,and none of it is worth a single American life.

Pakistan is a rather unique 'ally' of ours. They are an Islamic nation ... and they have nuclear weapons. We have to keep them on our 'side' so that we can keep track of those weapons. That's partly why we send them so much financial aid every year. It sucks, but that's the way it goes. The fear is that if the Pakis go over to the dark side, their nukes will go as well. That would be a disaster.
