Very interesting posts David, yes, we're coming with some screwdrivers! :D

In all seriousness, considering that these were being made by the same people that made the sledmounts, my guess would be that no sled mounts were killed to make any bunker mounts, that these were made especially for the forts from new.

But I'll bet we can make them work now on a sled that's missing the elevation gear...

I agree. Also since they originally had MG01s, the original elevation mech was probably MG01 elevation mech. I don't see why they would take apart sleds... just produce a few extra elevation mechs...

Speaking of this, Glen did you ever get that ammo box from the UK? Do you want to sell me a piece of the latch? Or was it good enough to keep?

No, the box and stuff still hasn't come in, and I'm really wondering about it now. I've gotten nothing at all from them, and it's been weeks!

I think it should have been here by now!

I am thinking I am glad you got it (Not me)! Does not look good that for sure! I think it should have been there a few weeks ago.
