BUCKEYE SPORTS COMPANY SEMI MG34

Has anyone ever dealt with this company? I called them today,and asked if they would do modifications on a TNW semi MG34,since they claim that their trigger pull is so light.They said "Yes, that they do modifications on the TNW semi MG 34's,and it would run between $750 and $1,000.I've only seen their Semi auto MG 34 for sale on GunBroker,and wonder if their gun is much better.Does anyone have any dealings with their semi auto MG34's,or this company?

Buckeye sports is owned by one guy,(i can't remember his name at the moment) who operates his business from his home.He is a great guy who knows his stuff and will stand behind what he sells. Last i talked to him, he was in the process of making semi auto M60 machine guns so he must know something.I have an Mg34 that he made on a TNW receiver.I've owned this for over 2 years and the gun functions great. The only problem i have is that the bolt sometimes sticks back when i cock it but a nudge on the cocking handle will close it. I understand that TNW guns have this problem also. As far as his triggers go, they have a much better pull than TNW guns but it is still a 2 finger affair and still heavy when compared to modern guns.$750-$1000 to redo a trigger? Wow!! I've seen his guns at shows,i'll probably see him this weekend at the Berea, Ohio show, and have never noticed all the chatter marks on the receiver.

Thanks for your response and opinion on the Buckeye Sports semi-auto MG 34.But if it is still a "two finger" trigger pull,I'll stick with the TNW modifications.I talked to him again last week,and he told me he contacted the guy who does the machining for this modification,and he said that $750 to $1,000 was a ballpark figure,and that it would be $1,000 to do the work.I'm going to pass.

maybe i'm not on the same page with you,( a two finger trigger pull), -- from the looks of Richard Freeman Jr.s patent drawings, i don't see any two finger pull. to myself, the set up looks like the trigger would produce just the opposite .

All i know is that when i bought the gun, Jim is his name, i was told it had his patented trigger pull to make it a lighter pull.As with TNW guns, sure you can pull it with one finger but it is much easier with two. I can't open the link so i don't know what you saw.
