Need a lesson on belt lubrication

I had trouble on my TNW 34 with unlubed belts, I used some CLP on a Q tip and swabbed out each link on my "shooter" belts. Also found that late war belts had less tension (at least mine did-I've got belts dated 35-43) Chris....

Wonder if they got bacon flavored pam... When your done shooting, you can lick the belt clean :D :lol:.
