MGW LLC has broken his wrist and wanted me to type a legible reply. He "will be needing 12 spring testers who can shoot 500 plus round for an eval." So some of the veteran shooters should chime in to test these springs.

Send him a PM if interested and able to test these springs.

I was just reading the Conrad Murphy/MGW LLC thread on AR15.com (the view count indicates over 12,000 hits on that thread!)

One post really set me up.
It is the second posting (near the bottom) by::

Man, that really was unexpected!!

dont hang up the nuses just yet, jesus... i have an idea, since i have pretty good luck contacting him regularly give me your name below if you want you money back and i can forward it to him.. now if you all start sending the law after conrad what do you think will happen to your money.. well yourll probably ever only see half of it again if that. i know damn well all the recievers he is doing will be confinscated so unless you want to screw me and your other board members over that have receivers over there take it easy!!!!

I read the post on AR15.com. Now I didn't study it in detail but from what I read it is 1 person with an issue and everyone else giving their 2 cents. If it was me who was out $4000.00 I would do more then bitch on a forum. I don't blame Conrad for not visiting that site, it's a no win situation. He is doing a Mg34 reweld for me and when I pm him on this site he answers them. I hope people on this site are more understanding then on AR15.com and talk to the guy like a human. Leave the pich forks and noose at home it will only make matters worse.

Just my thoughts

Just in general-is it better to get a lot of people mad over a little money each,or one person mad over a lot of money? If someone on the AR site calls the law,is he then screwing the guys here? If your guns get confiscated, wouldn't "our' springs be taken also? Would we be notified when you have your projects done ,so we can ask again? What if another member sends a project-does that extend the wait time? These are just general questions,I don't really expect an answer, just some thought. ---bil

One person losing one dollar is too much. But every day we are sending money to people we most likely will never meet, it is a gamble. All i'm saying is that if you get taken call the police, hire a lawyer do what ever it takes. Post that you were taken and let everyone else know not to deal with that person. After reading AR15.com all I see is a linch mob. In months the person who lost the money hasn't hired a lawyer or done anything. Conrad contacted a lawyer to protect himself. Somebody even went by his house looking in his windows, try that with me and see what happens. I just don't want to see on this site what i'm seeing there. I don't post alot, I don't have to everything I need is already here. I do see that most all are good people just enjoying a hobby. But buyer beware and don't send money to someone you don't know if your not willing to lose that money in a bad deal.

I agree with you 100%.I also feel that it has been handled poorly over there, and if the guy that had lost out had paid attention to business,it would have been worked out by now.I also think we have kept this site away from that sort of animosity. The diferance is that on AR15,one guy feels screwed, and everyone is giving advice.I think everyone that has posted here has an actual financial interest. And yes,it sometimes happens that deals go bad-it is just that here we have a lot of trust in each other and want to keep it that way.In the last month I have sent over $1000 in parts out to people I have never met except through this site, before I had received the money.I am careful who I deal with, but also believe a mans word is his bond,at least here. ---bil

Well I only have one spring on order (I think? that was a long time ago) so it is a small thing to me as far as the $s go. I would like to get it, but from what I have read it looks like MGWLLC is sinking deeper into a hole that he will not be able to dig out of.

Well I would have, I have been trying to work it out with Conrad for over 6 months now. In the latest PM he sent me (since he is no longer responding) he told me that I was out 4 grand and it was my fault. I have contacted 3 police departments and they could not help me, finally I got a hold of the USPS postal inspector and they are willing to help me but I leave friday for boot camp so its going to have to wait another 2 months...........
