AR15 FCG box

Post by Pirate »

I have designed an inexpensive fcg box for the AR15 fcg. I will weld them up and all you need to do is cut your grip and weld on the box. This is a cheap alternative to the complete grips available
They will cost about $25.00 with pin material.

I will not be doing conversions with these.

Are you still doing the FAL conversions? Are they the better way to go? Is that why you are not doing the AR conversions? THANKS! Rod (carlque aka dellque)

I am working on several projects at the moment and don't have time to do conversions right now. as soon as I get the loader hoppers , new bolt conversions and spade grips finished I will do conversions again.

As for the FAL conversions I am unable to get reasonably priced parts and wind up getting stuff from a couple different vendors. it is expensive and a pita.

I have had several people ask for the ar fcg conversion parts so I had these run with another job. I will be welding these up next week and will be ready to ship them shortly.

I got the jig today and am sterting to get these welded up. I will have about 20 sets available, ready to ship by monday.

They are a little different than the first set. I am not a fan of hanging the grip off the frame, it is not really solid so I have made these so that the front tab gets welded on to the receiver and fits into slots in the sides of the grip. it is firmly attached with a machine screw. this wil provide a nice rigid attachment. the kit comes with pin material and screws.

A kit is $25.00 the price includes shipping, 2 kits for $40.00 shipped, for more than 2 add $15.00 per kit.

using a standard spring it doesn't work as well as a fal setup. I have some wolf springs coming for more testing.
