HI from Canada

I discovered your forum just yesterday and I am amazed with all the info you have. I wish I can own a MG 42 here in Canada but some Liberal nut job decided I am a threat to public safety (even though I don't have a criminal record nor spent a single night in jail) and no one can own full autos or any real nice looking firearm.
I have always been amazed with the MG 42 even when I was much younger I always loved this machine gun. At least I can say I have at least touched one and looked down the sights. It was actually in a museum in South-Africa that had one on display and I was so excited when I saw it it was a true thing of beauty. 8)

We need to stick together, it looks like the Canadians are trying to mount an invasion.

Hello from Anoka, Minnesota. If any of you Canadian neighbors get down to the Twin cities, come shoot my full auto MG-42 sometime. In the meantime, build yourselves the semi-auto ones. The fellows here will help you every step of the way.

(We really don't count TC as a Minnesotan. We just humor him when he says he is one.)

Another Minnesotan here. Hey wynne, check out http://www.marstar.ca they used to have TNW MG34 semi's available. You might want to contact them. I see they also have German made semi MP 40's and MP 44's now too. So yeah, you can get some pretty cool stuff up there depending on what licensing you have, eh?

Thanks for the warm reply. Its been a very long time since a forum welcomed me like this
Thanks to all of you.
I saw the MGH34 on Marstar's website and maybe I was a little hasty in saying we can own any "cool" firearms because there is a lot that we can own.
If I recall come one asked where I am in Canada, I am in B.C. on the pacific cost Iv never been to the stats before and I would like to go (I came from South-African and only recently got my Canadian citizenship) I would love to shoot a full auto MG 42 and I think I will look in to building my self a semi-auto MG42.
But in any way I noticed I am staring to ramble on and on so all I can say thanks for the warm welcome and I hope to expand my limited knowledge of the fascinating MG42.
