Well just look at the casings! I thought that was mulch at first! Looked like fun! BTW, what is the rate of fire on an M60?

Is this a yearly shoot? I just got started in this hobby and I would really enjoy coming to see this. And just maybe my mfa 1919a4 will be finished by then, not sure about my mg42 though. I just got the parts kit and it will be semi-auto, but there is alot of work to do on it.

A lot of work for a 1919? Heck, I could build 10 of these in the time Ive spent just cleaning the cosmo goo off my '42 parts kit. Have you been to 1919a4.com? They have a comprehensive, soup to nuts tutorial on the semi build. If you need anything, feel free to ask the site or shoot me a PM.-Scott

Are all you folks from Oregon. I live about half way between Alsea and Walport north off of Highway 34 on Fall Creek Road, which is about 1-1/2 hours from Albany. I have an MG 42 4-piece German receiver and an M53 parts kit I'm going to start to build in the very near future and would love to see some examples of ones that are already built. If any of you are interested, I live in a very rural area of the coast range and have lots of areas to shoot if someone’s looking for a good shooting spot other than a range.

A bit late to the party here, but I attended that Spring Albany shoot. That was great fun. I didn't shoot the dual unit there, but burned a handful of rounds from the Halo MG42, as well as a bunch from my 1919s. I hope to make it up for another event there. Greenest range I ever saw, lol!
