Yeah, they DO look good. When are you going to update your site with the various kit types, prices, and the rest of the build on these? I've got too many projects in various levels of completion, but I do like what you're doing with this and it looks like I may have to see if I can add yet another project to the pile...

The plinker kits are taking a lot longer to get out than anticipated. I am waiting on one more part, the firing pin sleeves, the first batch were out of spec. there is a .060" hole for the firing pin and they chamfered the it to .085", giving way to much clearance around the pin so they are redoing them. Now that I have the lowers I can finish the welding jig for the lower for those who want welded kits and start the rest of the tutorials. I also want to change if possible the safety from a fal one to a G3 one as you can get these for $3.00.

It is a pretty complex thing to build but I have figured out ways for a guy with a drill press and dremel and a few drills and taps to be able to build it, that has been the most time consuming part. I just finished the receiver template and need to dimention a drawing also . I lost most of this weekend to problems here with a clogged sewer line, so it is another delay.

I made some parts from cardboard and the fit looks good, I am ordering some sheet steel to make a working one before I actually order the parts, I don't ned an expensive mistake. It looks like there may be enough interest for me to order 40 sets of parts and get you all a rock bottom price on them. I will be leaving for knob creek next week and when I get back I will place the order. I should have the parts about 5 weeks after I place the order.

Here's a shot of one of RTG's used MG3 belt loaders. I got it this morning, and...after I figured out how it worked...ran a handful of .308's into one of my belts. It works just fine. I found out that if you run the hopper down to the last cartridge, the last one wants to hop up over the feed ears, and jam between the machine and the belt  So don't run it empty, I guess ;)

congratulations
most guys can't figure out how to even mount it to a table
of course the really hard part is getting it back in the can the right way.
"good , bad, .....I'm the man with the gun."

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
over-age juvenile delinquents running the place.

Thanks, the snail cam with a socket for the handle was pretty easy ;) I haven't tried to put it back in the can yet  It took a while to figure out which way up the belt needed to go in
