34 receiver

Post by 2receivers »

Hello experts,
Every day I read these forum posts to learn,learn & learn about a 34 reweld trying to get enough courage to start mine. I read these every day but have never seen any thing about the holes in these guys. Is their dimention as critical as the overall dimentions of the
receiver?[diameter,depth ,etc]
Anything else someone can contribute?

Thanks=========Frank

Yes hole locations are critical on the 34. There is little roomfor tolerance. If the GS is either too far forward or backwards the FCG wil not work. The sear pin hole and the safety hole mustalso be correct in order to retain and use the safety.

Look around the site Orin (ie 762X51) posted a limited drawing of the 34 dimensions.

Regards,
Heli
