How many are planning on an mg34 build?

Ask your build questions here. Welding, assembly, etc.

Pirate-Just caught up with this thread-what did you have in mind? Something like a tutorial?like your build on this site-extremely helpful! I have an AA kit, spare barrel and bolt, and a kit coming with the receiver parts. Also an AA non-gun I could cannibalize if needed. What I dont have is the knowledge or information in an easily understood pattern i.e. First do bolt mods--like so.Sort of an assembly manual. While all builds would have differant problems,a good, general idea from start to finish would be good.Is this what you meant,or just what I HOPED that you meant? Thanks ---bil

Might as well count me in. I have had a kit for about 8 years now and I would really like to get it together. Mike

try mg34.com for a kit or brp, or a private seller, the demilled reciever is the hard part to find in usable condition

TNW rcvrs are running about $1800, plus you need the stud, and have it welded on. They can perform this, just not sure how much

you can get a pin from allegheny see post. orin told me to send to TNW along with your barrel shroud and have them install it. It's the best $75. you'll spend. Pins are $25. from allegheny. At this time, I have been waiting for a receiver from TNW for 2 months now.
