The new receiver we designed and built is approximately 3" longer than the BRP style which as you know would incorporate the camming section. How does one post items for sale on this website?
Thanks.

To get to the For sale section....You need to post a total of 5 posts I beleive. Then you can gain access to the for sale section and post away all your goodies. :D

Oh Wiselite guy, yea, Wiselite guy!
Hast thou a name, dare we inquire?
We see thine wares, no more mere aires
But whom, pray, doth so inspire?

By other name, a rose, 'tis said
Smells still as bless'd, as sweet
But thee, Wiselite, thy name hast hid
For days -- nay -- maybe weeks!

Thine handle's grasp eludes us now,
O' shadow's brief eclipse,
Art thou a Fred? a Bob? a Screech?
Oh, be not called . . . HEATHCLIFF ! ! ! ! !

Good folks over there. How would you like to be the moderator (owner/manager/referee/et.al.) on a site like Weaponeer? When you mix together guys who are passionate about their hobby, pool same's money, deal with suppliers, chase down slackers, and resolve misunderstandings -- sounds like running a business, doesn't it? I hope Gary makes money for his efforts -- he'll need it to replace all the hair he surely pulls out.

For those who are wondering what the heck M60 and I are talking about, a group buy for barrel bushing sleeves just closed on Weaponeer, and "the Boss" got the two of us in on the buy after it had officially closed. This was the first group buy I'd been a part of, but I was happy with the deal we got on the sleeves -- $100 each plus shipping. While looking for a sleeve, I found several instances where used ones sold for $140 each.

So, we're both happy about the deal -- won't be held up by the BB sleeve now. (Photo of a installed sleeve is borrowed.)

Hey Guys,

I am the owner of Wise Lite Arms and I just wanted to let everyone know that I will honor the 100.00 price on the barrel bushing until the first of the year. The price will go up to 125.00 after the first. These are in stock.

On the grip stick, it is made from 6061T6 aluminum, will accept standard AR15 fire control group. You will need to use extra heavy duty hammer spring. The grip will accept German and Yugo grips. Price is 165.00 with safety device.

Send check or money order with shipping address to:
Wise Lite Arms
P.O. Box 258
Boyd, TX 76023

Thanks, Tony

....Okay, lets take this in another direction. I have no interest in any semiauto guns, or receviers.

As an 07/ Class II Mfgr I can only think in terms of making something into a real MG. So, Tony @ Wise-Lite, let me ask you this: Will your stripped receivers be useable for Post-Sample MG builds?? Will you sell these receivers in a finished form (Title 1) that can be used by "those skilled in the Art" to make into a Post-Sample MG? Or, conversely, will you be selling receivers sections that can be used for such purposes?

Frankly, starting anywhere besides with a TIG torch and gapping sections in your hand would be a nice change....':!:'

Tony and his products are the REAL DEAL, He's been making aircraft parts for 25 years, His shop, HELL manufacturing facility, with rolls of million dollar CNC machine's. I myself have never seen these huge CNC machines. Just one of them is big enough to fill my small 30x40 barn.
So just want to say; HE's the man when it comes to producing these component.
He is a not just a master machinist but a engineer that just happened to start making gun components as a hobby.

NUF SAID.

No I don't work for him. I saw his stuff on weaponeer.net and dropped by. You just never know what down the street? WOW

Speaking of checking out the facility....I e-mailed the Wiselite contact on their website about coming over and looking at the product we are hearing about so I can review for every one here. I am in north Texas and am about 45 minutes from Boyd where they are located. I havent heard back from them yet though. If they do e-mail me back, I want to go check them out and see whats up.....Kev

I emailed them a few days ago at the sales address on their site, wanting to purchase the barrel bushing replacement. I have yet to get a reply. Which makes me think twice about sending a check or M.O. in the mail for it like stated in this thread by Tony.
I'd like to at least here from them before I do this, so that I'll know all is straightforward. As it stands now, I'm left in the dark. Would you risk, just sending payment? What does one do?

Thank's everyone.
I'm glad to hear they are on the up-and-up.
I figured they were. It just never hurts to make sure. It was just the email thing that made me wonder.
Gonna try callin' Mon., and if I get a good bushing in the mail that's as nice as you said it was, then I'll probably be jumping in circles chanting their name.lol

You will find many of the "home builder" items made by Wise Lite Arms being sold through "group buys" on the http://www.weaponeer.net web site. They have also offered some of the complete firearms that WLA produces.

I myself have a WLA semi auto DP-28 and PPSh-41 (plus other WLA firearms on order). 5280 Armory (located in Denver Colorado)
http://www.5280armory.com/
Is a distributor of WLA firearms. At their shop I have handled many WLA AK variants, M1919's and other DP-28's.
"Military Gun Supply"
http://www.militarygunsupply.com/shop/
Is the original distributor of WLA firearms.
WLA produced AK pistols can be ordered through your local FFL dealer from "RSR".

Wise Lite Arms is about as "real" as it gets in the "specialty" firearms market! Buy from them with confidence.
