Does anyone know if the kits that will be comming in now will include a De-Milled Barrel? So long as we have the barrel block included with the kit it souldn't be too awfully hard to make new barrels for the kits. The stubling point on barrel replacement is the block.

Regards,
Heli

call southern ohio gun at 1800-944-4867 and ask about the m53 kits( pn. sog-ym53)this kit is in their ffl flyer . i think that the flyers are for ffl only but these arent an ffl item. im sure they are back order material but they do get kits in every 6 weeks it seems. ;)

I just got in a CFS 8mm kit. It includes about 2/3 of the receiver (middle part, one piece).

Looks complete. The barrel is cruddy with cosmo, but the rifling looks sharp.

My two SOG kits were okay wuth the exception of the barrels. Both bores were worst than sewer pipes and could not be cleaned up. One of the barrels also had a corner broken off the barrel extension so that is pretty much trashed too. I spoke with Kelly on Tuesday about getting replacements but havent't heard anything back from her yet.

There were out of stock last thursday when I called to order one. They already had 75 back orders too.

Well, I have 3 .308 and 3 8mm barrels now. The .308 are pretty good and the 8mm are very good to excellent.

So, I guess I'm in pretty good shape, barrel wise.

Oh yeah, I also have a pure blaster .308, I almost forgot that one...

Hey Dan,

Are you planning on getting any more recievers/kit?
I keep missing out. When I have funds your sold out, and vice-versa.

Thanks,
Robert

I may be wrong, but I think Dan said no more receivers. He is supposed to be getting some 8mm barrels soon.

He hasn't said, but since parts minus barrels and receivers can still be imported, he may have more kits without the banned parts.
