Bill,
That is a nice lookin' bike setup........and I am only putting out the following information to help Board-Members....... :
If this is "Original" WWII German....then she would be worth it......"but" if this is a Post-War Russian-version as sold in some of the motorcycle-trader magazine/E-Bay-Motors, etc........then way overpriced. They still advetize the Post-War models w/side-cars for about half of that price without WWII Mods....and you could probably make a good deal w/those in this economy.
Tomcatshaas.......
....don't go out looking for an "original" KnuckleHead to put any miles on.......if you want to put "miles" on on your "bike"......get a reproduction hard-tail-frame (V-Twin), and put a new S&S KnuckleHead engine in it......I believe the ones that S&S is making now are 93" as apposed to when we use to take a 74" "Knuck" and put ULH Flywheels in them to stroke them out to 80"(+).
Yep.....if you want to talk "Bikes".....send me an e-mail.
Licensed "HD" Mechanic for the last 20 years........riding HDs since 1967........now just doing engine/transmission work now in spare time since retiring from the US Army.
Regards, RichardS in MI.

Are R75's a real pain to maintain if you drive them or what? I use my DKW NZ 350-1 for all kinds of riding, even commuting to work on occasion. Works just fine.

Re: BMW R75 w/sidecar
This is not 100% accurate. You've never used your DKW NZ 350-1 for jumps or stunt riding. I set up a whole row of school buses (just for you) and you REFUSED to even attempt to jump over them.DARIVS ARCHITECTVS wrote:Are R75's a real pain to maintain if you drive them or what? Plus, the Snake River Canyon STILL needs to be jumped.
