What do German WWI Broken Shell Extractors look like?

Post by IMBLITZVT »

You guys know, the piece that clips into the MG08 Sled Lock box lid. What do they look like? I know I am not finding originals so need to find something that looks close to replace it.

Thanks!

Hallo Matt,
I'm not 100% sure is it WW1, (no Markings on it)
but its a 8mm Mauser brocken Shell Extractor,
and match perfect in the Lid of the Lock Box on the Sled.

Greetings

One sold on ebay for like $15. I missed the auction as I still need one for my Sled. However with standard 8mm versions being about $10, its hard to pay more then about $30 or $40ish. I would like to find them at about $20.

Nope, this at home have been keeping me so busy I have not even had time to shoot or go to gun shows much less keep up with my projects. I did get some sled pads off ebay to help repair the ones on my sled.

On the website I have tried two or three formats but can get one to work that I like. Plus don't really have time. One day...
