That's just some wierd modification some person concocted. Why, I dunno. Seems contradictory to put a recoil compensator on a recoil operated MG, unless that compensator is attached to the flash hider and not the barrel, then it may have a little effect. Not that you absolutely need it.

This may be a Kalifornia thing-I seem to recall a thread about a year ago about this-differant ways to get it legal there. ---bil
