I assume the 41 is more scarce since it wasn't introduced unitl mid war ?
If so, do the 41's command a price premium or not ?
Is either loader more practical for use today ?

i don't think either is really practical for use today because of price there more for collecting.
if you want practical get a post war .308 loader for 100 bucks +/- and adapt it with the kit sold here to do 8MM as well .
