Dummy MG42 i built myself
tell me guys what you think of my dummy mg weld togeather i think it came togeather good and i am thinking about possible in the future making a semi auto mg42. we welded it togeather with a mig welder and the very steady hand of my great uncle and me. im only 20. and without a jig i put it togeather by eye. im gonna turn it into a gas gun for reenacting. its .308 m53 actually from interordanance and i acutually got a very good kit after reading what some of you guys experiences were with them. i got my kit 2 days after ordering it and it had all the small parts and everything and the cut gap was very small so it was a god sent.

Thats the bipod position for final defenseive fire when the targets are coming '
hot and heavy' so can make quick ajustments right or left. Or when you can "see the whites of thier eyes" so to speak.

The blued gun looks great. I think I like the blue better than the black I have seen. Looks really great.

The welding job really looks nice. The welds look very clean.
