Front sight assembly........?

HOW ?

Sight, block thing, 1 spring, thing that holds flash hider. Am I missing something here?

you also need the spring and plunger for the fs base. make a couple of short pins beveled
on one side and assemble the unit outside the gun, slide in place and install the regular
pins, they will push out the short pins.

ok- forgot the pins, but I got em'

I have the thing assaebled, but the sight won't stay verticle and the flash hider holder don't have much strenght to it.

Are there any pics of the thing the way it should look?

Recommended reading: PDV 918 for the MG42 - it shows exploded parts diagrams of all pins, springs, small parts, etc. and how it all goes together.
