Pirate,

Could you please post the measurements from the firing-pin you made up (that was later bent, etc. during firing) for the members of this forum ? (IE: Total length, diameter, length of forward-tip to the shoulder, shoulder-width, etc.).

Thank you for your input, RichardS.

Thanks for your input, it all helps to get to the finish line! I really don't want anymore unneeded excitement in the form of explosions either.

175 continuous rounds of .308 today in the back yard With my Jerry rigged wedge spring installed. I burned all the rounds
up without stopping...The last 14 rounds (all 14) had blown primers. All the other rounds were perfect...It never slammed .
After the pic, I pulled the firing pin out, and my front spring lost some of it's strength by collapse...less than 1/2 a coil in length, so
The F Pin setting changed towards the end of the belts=blown primers.
I'm going to do up the other spring design that isolates the F pin on the Feed stud...in the back, so that firing pin spring does not
compress unless the hammer hits it. If I got it to run this good with my p.o.s. jerry rig, I know it'll prolly hold up w/ Jbrgs design
Facts...not politics
