OK, I understand the issue more clearly on fit.
From photo below you can see the left side is far out of line.
I will later do some grinding to split the difference.
This thing will eat your brain.
If you wanted you could place the wide section in a vice located at the bottom and squeeze to two walls closer together. The channel for the charge handle may "Z" shape a bit to take up the extra material. Or the easier and maybe safer way would be to do what Rahatlakhoom did.
Thanks again. If mine fit as well as Rahatlakhoom's, I wouldn't worry about it. The bottom is almost below the buffer edge. The charging handle channel is not against either side of the shell the last couple of inches. There is a gap with a little weld in them. It's going to be next week before I have time to do any more work.
Rahatlakhoom was your right side straight or slightly bowed?

It has a slight bow. At least it hasn't interfered with rail alignment.
My bolt slides well...except that the charging handle peg (displaced to the RH side for SA function)
is getting snagged on the
gripstick ear and the inner wall of the charging handle recess area.
Right now I can smell apparent victory. Not home yet.
Ive got a set of the BRP stamping (front and rear) they are well made about 1/8" thick and straight and true.
Soon as I finish my workshop Im gonna start on my build. The rear sections will require a good amount of material removal (well not that much really) to get em to match up with my shroud. The forward stampings are well made but would require a great deal of work to make em into a front shroud. They will work great, however, if you lack the section that buts up to the camming piece. As the raised "bumps" are all built in

I'm in for the BRP rear stampings.
The ColdSteel experience has worn me weary.
I will finish the CS build, but want my 2nd build to be more enjoyable.
Any word Flem, on how your BRP stampings are working out?
Still working on the shop. I should be done in 2 weeks...finally!! Ive been looking at em and it seems my ideas on em will work and shouldnt be to hard just time consuming. There is one guy I know of that has done em said basically the same thing.
