Well it might not be a Maxim but it is a Potato Digger... well minus the Potato Digger part... anyway it is what the US was shooting back at the Maxim! Its a late version of the Potato Digger made by Marlin in 1918 for Aircraft use. The sideplate is cut for the ATF but some moron torched the barrel chamber and main body of the gun! Its a Gas Op gun as they used a piston and removed the Digger arm. Very cool gun! I would love to get one that works! Its also cool that the end cap can be removed and a pistol grip installed, without mods, for ground use.

Well I finally managed to work a deal with a board member and I have added a Nice MG08 feedblock that had the MG34 conversion made to it! Should make shooting the MG08 easier when I get one! Also in the picture is a Unit Marking Tag nailed to a MG08/15 stock and The Unit Marked Luger to hold things up.

Very cool stuff!!!! You'll have to let us know how the feedblock works, take pictures! :D

What unit marking is on the stock???

Neat aircraft browning, I have seen those too, they're an interesting gun; the fact that the US saw fit to use that for an air gun, (and it was an ok gun) but bought Hotchkiss guns in a totally different caliber (supply problem) for the ground guys, baffles me, just like the whole chauchat v. Lewis whoops.
