Strange Mount

Ever seen one of these before? Thought I would pass it on. Apparently an M53 mount that goes on a .30 tripod...

Its a conversion for the m2 tripod. uses the cradel froma postwar mg3 mount. bunch of these were for sale a few years ago.

I think there was a guy selling them over in the Classifieds. Neat mount, I have one around somewhere.
