HELP WANTED!!! MG42!!!

hello.i am a new member and need your help!!!i am interesting of the history of the mg42. i search photos from mg42 in action of the ww2.also of all mg42 which today exist in a collection or museum. so i want to list all mg42 what i found and then we can see which exemplars exist today, show modifications and differences.
the original idea is from my collectorfriend "searchandfind". he makes the "mg42 receiver study" and had posted in other forums too.maybe you know the mg42 receiver study.
please help!!!!

hello DARIVS ARCHITECTVS. many thanks for the pictures!!!!really a great mg42 by maget from 1943 with the code "GH".i know this one from a other website and i had seen many other pics of this mg42.really a great mg42 in good condition.why is the serialnumber not visible?
i hope other members and collectors shows their mg42 and/or only the receiver.me interesting pics from the muzzle area , front sight area , rear sight area , rear tripodmount and code + serialnumber.
many many thanks to all members,collectors and supporter!!!

i have a question:
why must the mg42 receiver cutting when they comes to the united states?
at first they were destroyed and then in the states they were repaired again.i dont understand it.can you tell me why that is so???

and sorry for my bad english.i will learn it!!!

The SN is painted over for security reasons. You never know when some (Try a different word.) will try to claim your SN for his welded up POS. If you want the SN, PM me.

In the USA, if a cut up receiver is rewelded, it may only be rewelded to make a semi-auto gun, never a full auto machinegun, unless the person is a licensed machinegun manufacturer.

Here are 3 of mine, dfb 44 in back 2cra 44 in front these are live tranferable machine guns.I have another that I have not taken a pic of and around 8 cut up ones also. Driebien 34 and 40ImageImage

hello mg42rip.wow, very very nice mg42 has you in your collection!!!and in a top condition!!! :photos:
please,show more pics from the mg42.
how i write, i need pics from the muzzle area , front sight area , rear sight area , rear tripodmount and code + serialnumber.
then i can look the pics and list it for my database.
i am so happy that it gives so friendly collectors and members!!!
