MG42 STUFF FROM A FORUM ROOKIE
Hi Guys brand new to the form thought I would break the ice with a few pictures of my collection.

- the top 42 is a 1943 dated weapon with the early cocking handle and mg34 style bipod the lower 42 is a 44 dated example. both made by Rinemetal Maget

Thanks for the kind comments guys. The 42's are both war time third reich matching numbered weapons de/act (remember I live in the UK) they came from captured Soviet arsenal stock from Minsk I picked them up a couple of years ago. Just saving up the rubles for a Z40 optic to finish my tripod off. my Mg34 and Mg13 sets are just about complete just have to tie up the 42 gear. Great to be amongst fellow enthusiasts by the way.
