How do you like my Mg42E3?
I machined a bracket to fit the lower mounting lug on my Mg42 and to fit the wooden vertical grip from a Thompson SMG. A unique marriage!

I have one of the metal ones on my MG34 and IT looks funny too!! It doesn't help much, STILL to heavy to carry around!!! Rod

IMO - I think it'd look a lot better stained 'ebony' or painted black.
