Found MG3 Tech Order
Found MG3 Tech Order
Hey y'all
I found something I thought all might be slightly interested in (Big Grin!!) . If you goto the link here you will download the German Bundeswehrs MG3 Tech Order! It is a 187 page PDF and is a little over 6 megs in size. The file location site is http://www.bundeswehrforum.de/download/zdv314.zip and belongs to the German Army.
If you want to go to the site and select the file your self for download go here http://www.bundeswehrforum.de/index.php ... asmas.html. click on "ZDv 3/14 - Das Maschinengewehr" (6182KB)
Might want to make this a sticky or DL the TO to the site.
Have fun!
Mike

German Weapons
Guys, you also need to take a look at this page on the German Bundeswehr website. This has a download for the G3 and new rifle, the pistols, and additional info on the MG3. This one is 270+ pages, but well worth looking at. The page is: http://www.bundeswehrforum.de/index.php ... asmas.html.

I downloaded that PDF manual over a year ago. I didn't think anyone would want it since it's in German, so I didn't mention it. It's pretty tough to get a decent picture out of a PDF file, so I tracked down the actual ZDv 3/14 manual and bought it (two of them, actually). This manual is the one that'll be 166 pages, and won't be done till this winter. I've mentioned it before, and it's posted on my "Coming" manuals page on my website. I have a link to download it posted on my website, at the bottom of the Manuals page.
The manual shows lots of pictures, and I'll get to it this winter sometime. I have all the other downloads that were on bundswehrforum.com, but I doubt I'll translate any of the others.

We can always depend on John to be on top of things for Manuals! Once it is in English, it will be easier for me to read anyway. I will start tonight going thru the Manual and reading what I can.

Guys,
Even if the Manual is in German, you need to print it out! Just the pictures alone are great. This is one Manual I want from John as soon as it is hot off the press! I am sitting in my hotel and as soon as I get off the internet, I will be reading the book; well, as best as I can, my German is so-so. This will be a "must have" book for any MG42/1/2/3.
I plan to print out the Manual on the all the small arms too! This is a BIG one with over 250 pages!
