New Toys

Post by ChrisPCook »

Finally, my turn to post...it's been a long and expensive process, but I'm almost there....I still need trigger mods to complete the 34 (drilling and milling of the trigger), 34 is built on a TNW receiver, but my next step is a couple rewelds. As far as the 42, just need some minor tweaking, but fully assembled, and will have her out to the range soon. I wanted to try Oxphoblue on the 42, but it's a hazmat item, and no one has it up here in Alaska, and Brownells won't ship outside of the lower 48, so I guess next trip down I'll get some. CHris....

By the way, pictures don't do it justice, buttstock on the 42 is a Dan Angola Armory buttstock, 2 coats of BLO, followed with an application of Howards Feed N' Wax, came out nice. Chris...

The 42 is a PDStout reweld, which I purchased from another forum member awhile back, the 34 receiver just came back on Monday, I had TNW do the cams and bolt conversion, I still need to get the trigger mods finished, it was part of the weaponeer group buy. Chris...

I'm planning on trying the Panaceabeachbum AR15 setup with his gripstick and see how that goes (my reasoning is that the AR15 US made FCG was readily available), I also have Pirate's FAL so I'll test that out as well.

Chris-
Very nice looking builds! I am planning on using oxphoblue on my TNW receiver as well (real soon) and I can let you know how it turns out. Also I just sent my 34 trigger off to Heli for conversion.
