OH, I would LOVE to take credit for this fingernails-on-the-chalkboard moment, Bil, but MauserMatt is the villain this time. I just hate that he had the idea before me 8) 8) 8)

So Matt gets the credit-two evil ones! The prices have jumped in the last year,my first one was under 500,that was last year. The one on e-bay got up to around 800 before it got pulled. That guy went out in style!! ---bil

Haha... sorry guys... Went looking for a different post through the search engine when this one popped up..... Just had to do it when I saw it...

Though it does make my chest hurt a little too on the inside.... Wish I had bought 10 of the damn things at that price..... :dizzy:

Ah this was a great group buy. I wish we had more like this. Believe it or not I actually had to convince a guy not to back out of this deal. Now he has one hell of a nice FA mg42. He thanks me for it every time I see him.

BTW, glad to see Matt catching some heat for once. I usually get the blame for pulling up old group buy deals

Matt, Things are actually really good now...... much better than when I last talked to you all. Just thought I'd come by here and do some research for my mg 42 build. Gonna build the kit I got in this group buy.

I think I hit a home run with this one. I see that noone was disappointed with what they received. That's always good to know.

How have you been?

Those were the days!!!

I brought this old thread up again for several reasons.
1st so those of us that got here late for deals like this from great folks like Dan (RIP) can cry
2nd I was looking for a code and found it in a search. There is a nice listing of codes in the 2nd page of this thread.
3rd to say we miss you Dan (RIP)
4th look at of the old names in this thread and the great parts kits and prices.
5th Bil was still missing his "L" at that time also

Yes, the german number on the rear receiver are nice to see, I like the receiver section, very long and very easy to do a re-weld, and the price stick out, man I would love to have that parts kit !!!!!!!
