The parts came in today for the new 8mm loader hoppers. they did an excellent job on them. the hopper parts fittogether with only a few minor corrections. I designed it with tabs so it snaps together, the tabs provide extra metal so the parts can be fusion welded with a TIG.
The base needs a little fitting to the loader lower, then I can weld on the hopper and test it. If all goes well I will correct the drawings and order parts in quantity. I should have kits and complete hoppers in a couple of weeks.

I got the hopper fitted to the base and got it working. the design needs some refinement so it will work as good as the oroginal. I hope to finish tweaking it and correcting the drawings in a few days. then I will order parts.

Hi, my name is J W and I have a shooting problem
Re: 8mm hopper preview
Pirate, any news on the hopper? I just finished loading several belts by placing one round at a time in the 308 hopper. The 8mm hopper should make this task a lot easier.

Re: 8mm hopper preview
I made corrections to the sheet metal and need to correct the drawings. unfortunately my job has kept me on the road away from home for the last few weeks and has kept me from doing anything.
