all i saw was dented case necks , which are typical of a MG42 thats working right. the ejection causes the neck of the case to hit the gripstick and dent.

and yes I'm jealous
You did not look good then. He even admited that few of the casings got jammed between.
the ejection causes the neck of the case to hit the gripstick and dent.
No way, he needs to re adjust rear buffer and it wont do that. It does not hit gripstick.

RaccoonRough, I think bring along guns wich are legaly owned in the USA is no problem. And as soon someone is swiss citizen Full-Autos are also possible depending on the resident Canton(State).

I checked the thing with the dent necks and on the frontside of the trigger guard are clear marks from casings which hit it there. I realized also that it is not probable that the casings hit the ejection port because to do so they would have to fly forward in barrel direction.

The jamming that I have was a whole round between barrel and bolt, so it was no extraction problem.

But thanks you anyway hakentt for pointing it out to me.

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of

nice gun:
I take it it is full auto?
Hey what do I do to change my mg 42 (yugo m53) to shoot 308? What parts do I have to change out? And what is a good price for extra 8mm and 308 barrels?

I have paid as low as $100. for .308 at egunparts and as much as $150. for a .308 chrome lined at Ohio ord. works.

I last paid I think $200. for a nice 8mm with nice bore and plenty of rifling.
