I got dealer price (I have my FFL) it is the same as posted on this thread. I believe that shipping will be free because it is over $500. Lets hope that they it doesn't stay on back order for too long.

I would expect a wait of about 6 months if you ordered direct from Century. They have lots of distributor orders for M53's to fill and their orders were placed before the M53 "went public".

Someone a few posts back was wondering about Century working the bugs out. Hell guys, ALL the research and development was done for them right here.
Ive been reading these boards for a while now (as Im sure people in the gun industry have been also). You guys here have spent thousands of man hours, documenting all of your progress, telling us what works, and what does not. With loads of picture tutorials, plus having the valuable knowledge of what NOT to do by your own trials and errors (which is the kick in the rump for all development).
There are several guys right here on these boards that should take a bow and be given GIVEN some of these weapons by Century. LOTS of money and time spent on your own projects that you have kindly shared with everyone (and for that ALL of us are very grateful).
I may be wrong, but I would bet that when these things are shipped, the guts will look an awful lot like some of the final project phases right here. ( but hey, thats why 1919s are now so affordable)
Someone with deep pockets stepped up, took the ball and ran with it. I just hope they paid attention in class. If they did, the Century guns could work fairly well.

Thanks.

shouldn't be a prob. as far as reliablity, if wiselite will be building the recievers and such. All century will be doing is 'selling and shippin' them built, as they dont employ builders of their own as stated above. Ive sent my dealer a memo, so... hopefully they become availible asap.

Once again the customer has put off giving us an answer concerning the sale of %80 receiver halves for another week. This has been going on for a while now.

Sorry, all I can say is what I know.

rocco1911,
Thanks for the nice words!
This hasn't been the best day for me! Lots of annoying little things just dragged me down. Can you believe a piece of road debris smashed one of my headlamps as I was heading down the highway? Of course I knew I was coming back after dark! That was just one thing.

So, when I sign off in a bit I will now be feeling a bit better about the world in general.
Thanks again for taking the time to post.
