Mg42 belts

Well I guess it is time to get some belts since I am in for the long haul. Can any boddy tell me where to get the belts for the 42 cheap? I am really enjoying this site and am learning so much from all you guys....Thanks....Kev

Cole distributing has them New, and I think starting tabs as well.
If you're looking for orig. WW2, then I would try Marstar, as they used to
have a great deal on 10 and 1 tab inside one ammo can for cheap.

AIM Surplus has a good deal on belts with cans.

I went to MARSTAR.CA and I ordered 2 sets of their "5 post war MG42 belts and a starter tab with ammo can" ($36 CDN I think) and I ended up with 2 WWII ammo cans, 2 Yugo belts, 8 WWII dated German belts and 2 WWII dated German starter tabs. Not too shabby.

They had a great deal on drums w/carriers too. A few I bought were
ww2, so other than shipping cost, and they really like to drag feet on sending, it
was overall a good deal for original.

their site is hard to navigate think they are in with the mg 34 stuff
