Yugo M53 kit

Well I finally took the plunge and ordered a M53 kit from CFS the other day.
Anyone else order one from them in the past and if so what was the condition ?

I purchased my m53 kit from them and it was very nice, excellent barrel and bolt lots of extra grease on parts but cleaned up, great. The feedtray and topcover were also in great condition with blueing on all parts 90-95%, very good parts.

I just talked to CFS last week and they said they didn't have any kits yet. How much are they charging? Someone on another board said the were going to be $199. That's why I was holding off from getting one from SOG.

They are $199, and you can preorder one now. They hope to have them in by the end of this week. I have ordered many kits with them in the past and have usually gotten what I paid for. I did luck out a couple of times though, and got some near new yugo ak kits at the well used price. Their order delivery was extremely prompt and they will get you any missing parts without a hassle. Talk to Lois or Pam and they should be able to hook you right up. I ordered one and I will post pics of what its like when i receive it. If its any good, I'll order several more...

These are probably the same kits SOG has.

CRAP!

I just bought two SOG kits. I could have saved $100 (assuming CFS ever actually has kits. They have things on their site and catalogs that don't actually exist).

Well...it is payday, so i was gunna order a M53 from SOG, but 50 bucks is 50 bucks. Now, is the CFS deal one of those "backorder"....tou might see this kit sometime next decade things. Where to get one SOG or CFS?

Just talked to CFS and was told the kits are in the warehouse. They said
hopefully Monday kits would start shipping, guess we'll see.

My kit just shipped today. We will find out if all of the pieces are there. I'll gets photos up as soon as I get the kit unpacked and degreased.
