I'll be at table C17 in the pole barn (roof) next to Allegheney Arsenal. I'll have a full assortment of manuals if anyone want to look things over. I'll also be wearing a gawd-awful ugly pink ball cap so people will know who I am. Nobody else there will have a hat like that.
I'll be there from Friday about noon till closing on Saturday night.

I was at my table selling manuals all day except for when I went to the car and got my sweater for under my leather jacket. Sweat pants under my jeans felt great. Cold, but a good crowd. Someone got hurt on the firing line today, but I didn't hear details. I'll post tomorrow night when I find out for sure what happened.

Ahh, so it was you. The guys told me someone came by looking for me. I was over at Folke Myrvang's table buying the MG34 video. Gone 5 minutes and look what happens. It wasn't till late Saturday that I managed to make a quick walk through the show. I did like the 20mm rifle from Anzio. $11,900 for a rifle, plus $200 for the destructive device transfer. Then it's $6 a shot for ammo.... but hey, it's only money. Maybe I can learn not to need food. Think of the savings!
The few times I walked toward the firing line, the crowd was so thick I didn't bother to go in and shoot anything. I have friends who keep saying that I should come up to their tables to shoot, but I shoot other times elsewhere anyway and it's easier without the crowd.
Too bad about the guy blowing up his 20mm Oerlikon cannon and getting hurt, but those things happened when the guns were new 60 years ago. I think when I shoot one I'll have on a flak jacket for sure. I have some trigger time coming on one of those from a guy when I helped him with his cannon... He bought it without a firing pin (didn't know it was missing), so I reverse engineered a firing pin for it. It feeds from a 60 round drum... ought to be a blast, but I hope not literally.

Virginia man hurt when his anti-aircraft gun misfires at Knob Creek show"
"A shooting accident at Knob Creek Gun Range sent a Virginia man to the hospital with shrapnel wounds after his anti-aircraft gun misfired.
Allen Hayes was among about 2,000 people at Knob Creek Gun Range's twice-a-year machine-gun shooting event and military gun show Friday when his 20 mm Oerlikon misfired because a round was not all the way in the chamber properly, said Kenny Sumner, manager of the gun range.
Shrapnel ripped through Hayes' right hip. He was in fair condition at University Hospital yesterday, officials there said.
Hayes was outside firing at targets such as appliances and cars when the accident happened.
"There is an inherent danger of that happening," Sumner said, adding that Hayes was using his personal gun and ammunition. Hayes had signed a liability waiver.
Bullitt County EMS was on the premises and responded immediately. Several doctors who were shooting also responded, Sumner said.
Accidents occur at the gun range about once a year, Sumner said, but most involve smaller-caliber ammunition. He said the 20 mm belt-fed Oerlikon is one of the larger guns he has seen at the range.
A 13-year-old girl was killed at the range in 1995 when the quarter-ton machine gun she was firing fell on her and crushed her. "
