do you have other pictures of mg42 stamped with bnz????

BNZ is the code for Steyer .

i think it was made by Steyer in early 1943.
the font on the stamping looks odd but i have 2 CRA stamped ones and they may have just used a different font at steyer.

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
over-age juvenile delinquents running the place.

are mg42 marked M.G.42 or MG42?do the two exist or is M.G.42 postwar??

I have Folke Myrvang's book in front of me and on page 135 it shows pictures of 2 BNZ marked MG42's, one dated 1943 is the same thin/light stamping like yours the other is 1942 dated with a heavier/thicker stamping, but both are "M.G. 42"
