I've always wanted an 1866 Charleville, just like the Pedersoli replica a friend of mine let me shoot a many years back. The French flintlocks had a style that seemed more elegant to me than British or even American ones.

You need to go to Paris and visit the Hotel Invalides next to Napoleons Tomb and see all of the Weapons that they have there.... If you go please bring a droll towel and don't leave to many finger prints on the cases.
I have several nice pics of a few of the hundreds (or thousands) of the beautiful weapons on display. From matching dueling pistols Gold and Silver trim to yes mg42's on Lafette tripods. Also your amour plate from child size to adult...
